Well, let me just start by saying that if you want a calm, relaxing life don’t do the following within 10 days: have a baby, buy a major fixer-upper, start a new job (my husband, not me.)
To say that things are busy around here is a major understatement. But part of me loves the craziness. I’m not sure why, I must be a glutton for punishment.
Anyhow, here’s what happened:
This sweetie turned 2 months old
I got my whole-house water filter installed (hollaa!!!)
I cooked venison
We got new garage doors put on the new house
We unearthed a beautiful stone wall at the new home. I will be planting a vegetable garden above it in the Spring!
I bought a pumpkin spice latte just to see what all the fuss was about, and hated it.
This mojito, on the other hand, was delicious.
I busted down a wall. With a sledge hammer and my bare hands.
Miles got confused I made venison. Again.
Henry tried on Etta’s hair bows Miles got tired
My husband donned AE Cargo pants circa 1997 and removed approximately 4 billion tons of overgrown brush from our new backyard.
I bought this much vinegar…which I’ll explain later.
I got grossed out by a bumper sticker
We discovered that Miles looks exactly like Curious George.
I bought 3lbs of grass-fed beef fat for making face cream…stay tuned for this one!
I drove to Amish country to pick up raw milk goodness….I love it out there.
Henry spelled “people”
My dad finally got to meet Etta!
Alright, that’s it. Goodnight friends.
live well. be well.
