A Contemporay Loft in Italy

By Facingnorth
Flos 265
A contemporay loft in Italy The loft belongs to Marcello and Maria Pia Zappador Ruggerini, partners and co-founder of the Italian Architecture Office Amorfo. The project is the result of a renewal of a countryside house located between Reggio Emilia e Modena, in the center of Italy. All material are left in their "natural status" : metal stairs are not painted , concrete wall and floors are  not treated, stone elements are untouched. They also placed a great attention in choosing the design objects, with most of the lighting pieces being great Italian classics ( Flos 265, Artemide Teti lamp by Vico Magistretti, Achille Castiglioni's Parentesi) and seating by Charles and Ray Eames. A contemporay loft in Italy A contemporay loft in ItalyA contemporay loft in ItalyA contemporay loft in ItalyA contemporay loft in Italy  A contemporay loft in ItalyA contemporay loft in Italy
