A Commons Holiday Music Guide Part Five
Okay, so we are down to the last days before the arrival of Christmas. You’ve done all your holiday planning for the big family get together, or getting together with your friends, or just being by yourself. You want music for the occasion, but don’t have any time left to download a bunch of music, or build playlists. Never fear – I have you covered.
Below you will find four playlists from ccMixter and six playlists from Jamendo. These playlists are massive: one of them is 428 tracks long! These lists will gaurantee you have hours and hours of music to listen to for your holiday festivities.
So, this overview probably hasn’t even scratched the surface of all the holiday music that is available. It was just a list that I put together after a bit of searching around for some music that I could listen to during the next few days. If I had really been thinking about this more carefully, I would have started on it over a month ago. I am of the feeling that it’s fine to celebrate the holidays for the month of December, just don’t go starting into it on halloween.
I’d personally like to thank the literally hundreds of artists involved in these releases and playlists. They are the real heroes: writing, producing, recording, engineering and releasing the music that makes all of our lives better. Please support them.
