The future is here! The frustration of finding the right side for plugging in USB cables will soon be over, as the development of the new reversible USB is progressing faster than we’ve though. In fact, it has already made an appearance at the CES 2015.
Folks over at ArsTechnica has managed to get their hands on the new cable, which as you can see looks pretty cute. The versatile design of the new USB plug with the rounded edges will make your devices work, no matter which side you plug it in.

Many new devices are already adapting the new technology, including Nokia N1 tablet and MSI’s USB 3.1 laptop, and soon more devices will join the new reversible USB force.
