a Beautiful Christmas – in Pictures

By Lindsayleighbentley @lindsayLbentley

We had a wonderful Christmas.  I don’t really like to blog much during the holidays as I am pretty much content to soak in the extra time with my husband and family that we don’t see often.  Etta got to meet her Uncle Todd for the first time, as he lives in Alaska.

I love Christmas.  It’s even more fun with little children.  This was Etta’s first Christmas.  It was the first year that Miles was really aware of what was happening.  Although he would have been thoroughly satisfied with his own chapstick and organic jelly-beans that I put in his stocking.

Henry, ironically, was the last one to wake up, and was so cute the whole day.  He was so excited to give out his hand-made cards to everyone, and was precious about the ring that he picked out for me.

We started the morning with stockings, my favorite part of Christmas.  We always have a stuffed animal sticking out of the top…

After lunch we took the children to the park.  It was cold, and cozy, and just perfect.

Hoping for some snow tomorrow.  Henry asked tonight if we could pray for God to send some…and so we did.

I hope you had a wonderful day too.  Merry Christmas!
