9 Videos of the Coolest Treehouses Ever

Just about every kids dreams of building a really cool treehouse at some point, which means it is a common dream for many of us.

Few dedicate the resources and time as an adult to building the tree house of their dreams. Some of those epic treehouses have been collected hear so that you can revel in the incredible creations of a home among the trees.

The Minister’s Treehouse

These first two videos are of the same tree house  – it is just that big that these two different takes are necessary to get the idea of the size and scope of this project. The first video includes interviews with the treehouse’s builder.

Sadly, the the local authorities stepped in and have barricaded this off to the public.

Handicap Accessible Tree House

It’s big, it’s inventive, but most incredible off all is that this tree house is handicap accessible. Located at Wonderland Camp, even visitors in wheelchairs can enjoy playing in this tree house.

Treehouse with Spa in Austrailia

This treehouse is located very high up in the land down under. Due to its location over spring-fed streams, a ravine, and forests, you can watch the entire water cycle taking place before your eyes.

The Tree-sort

This treehouse is also a bread and breakfast in Oregon. It even has full indoor plumbing, even at 40 feet above the ground!

This network of treehouses were almost closed down by the local authorities, but Michael Garnier, the designer, persisted. In the second video, he shows some of the techniques that were used to make such an epic, long-lasting structures that worked with the trees for the best possible support.

Not all of these cool treehouses have to be huge. This little cupola tree house is a well-designed little retreat for one or two, or a perfect wildlife observation point.

Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse

Many of us were probably inspired by the lavish treehouse featured in Walt Disney’s The Swiss Family Robinson. If you visit Disney World, you can actually walk through the tree house at the park. Or you can watch this full walk through here!

Best Backyard Treehouse by HGTV

Perhaps the best treehouses, though, are those which can be enjoyed by those that are still young. In this segment from HGTV’s Elbow Room, Chip Wade designed and built this incredible backyard treehouse for this family with three daughters.
