This room combines the traditional gaming environment with the straight lines of contemporary styling – note in particular the use of rectangles and squares, and the simple style of the pool table in the center. The lighting is more dynamic in this room, with a softer, warmer light for the main area and a brighter nook on the side.

My immediate thoughts on seeing this game room is that it very much looks like a hobbit-hole. The rounded archways light earthy colors, plus my own interest in the lore bring this to mind. What is also notable with this basement arrangement is the use of a very long space, broken up into a gaming and arcade area, media center, and a table and chairs set up in another area of the same room.

A more modern gray coloring sets this room apart, while the traditional arcade amusements provide the recreational activities. The wood and brick is a lighter brown, making the whole atmosphere seem lighter, clean, and simple.
