Posted on the 20 September 2013 by Nrjperera @nrjperera

The thrill that comes with watching movies such as Fast & Furious, James Bond and The Expendables is perhaps the extreme performance of the cars showcased there in. The good news is that you no longer have to dream about being in such cars since movie cars like the Mitsubishi Evo VII driven by Paul Walker in the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious are available on sale today.

There are still plenty of movie prop and replica cars to be had right now, starting from a much more affordable $8,000. Let’s take a look at 7 of the best movies cars you can own right now.

1971 Detomaso as seen in ‘Fast 5

Detomaso

The Detomaso was featured in the recent movie Fast 5. For sale are not one but two of these rare and imposing autos. For your money you’ll get a 1971 and 1972 version, one of which is little more than a husk and the other should be mostly intact although I’d stop quite a long way short of calling them concourse condition.

Currently, the cars are up for auction on eBay are  expected to fetch as much as $50,000. Get your bid in while you can as these bad boys only have 2 days to go, times-a-ticking! Check it out here.

1966 Lincoln Batmobile as seen in ‘Batman’

The 1966 Lincoln Batmobile currently on sale is a replica, not the real deal. This is because the original car sold for a $4.6 million when it went up for auction. Regardless of being a replica, the car still has all the same features and specifications as the car that was used in the movie. The finishing is also excellent, so you would not have to dig deep into your pocket in order to restore its aesthetic appeal.

Yours for the small sum of around $100,000, sadly no cape is included in the sale. Find it here.

Cadillac Convertible as seen in ‘The Pink Cadillac’

Pink Cadillac

The Cadillac Convertible is the actual Cadillac that was used in the 1987 film, The Pink Cadillac. Whilst the body has been restored, it has still managed to retain its original film features such as the under-chassis camera mount. This classic car is currently selling for $88,000, a bargain when you consider how many inches of car your getting and you’ll certainly stand out from the crowd and that’s priceless.

Although a replica, the 1982 Pontiac Firebird still looks and feels like the original 1982 Pontiac used in the movie. The vehicle features an automatic transmission system and a 5.0 liter engine.  Whilst it may lack the artificial intelligence from the series and we dare say it’s *probably* not bulletproof, it still has the look and the feel and for what could be a steal at $8,399 (so far) that’s enough right?
