5 Reasons Why We Win Game 5...

This team will win game 5! I whole heartedly believe it. We are going to St. Louis not for a baseball game but for a raiding party. We will loot, pillage and plunder St. Louis into the great abyss that is wait till next year.
Here are some reason why...
1. Garret Cole! This kid has the mental makeup and the stuff of an ace. His attitude, anger and poise has been on display for the last month of the season and his game 2 start was as critical as any. He will not wilt, he will not falter, he will continue to get better and better. He reminds me of Josh Beckett in 2003 with better stuff. He will be in command of himself and the game.
2. They Shower well! - This team doesn't quit, time after time these Pirates have shown a resolve and grit to overcome adversity. Why would this be any different. I expect that our team moved on to game 5 the minute they walked of the field, sometimes that is the biggest hurdle ( no pun intended ) to overcome. I have no concerns that there will be any hangover or lingering residue from the game 4 silencing. I expect this team to play it's best game of the season Wednesday.
3. El Toro, Martin and The Byrd Man! Pedro is on fire right now, Martin and Byrd have been clutch. An early blast or timely hit in the first few innings gives us a lead which Cole never relinquishes.
4. Adam Wainwright - This ain't Cy Young here, I have never been impressed with this guy. If the Pirates learned anything from Game 1 I hope they learned to be more patient and disciplined at the plate vs. the guy. Don't chase that curve ball, get ahead in the count and sit on his fastball which can be had. Remember last year's Game 5 vs. the Nationals. Here is his line...
