5 Reasons Boots & Hearts Tickets Make A Great Christmas Present

We were talking with our friends at Boots & Hearts this week, and while we’re working on some very exciting things for 2016 (stay tuned) we also talked about how cool it would be to get tickets to the festival as a present.

I mean, that would be huge. Because it would be such a big deal, and because we love lists… we’re breaking down the top 5 reasons Boots and Hearts 2016 tickets make the best present this Christmas.

1) The Lineup

This one is easy. Have you seen the list of names coming to Burl’s Creek in 2016?

We’re going to get 3 days and 4 nights of awesome music on the B&H stages, just like we get every year. And if you know a country music fan, they’re going to want to be there to see it.

2) The Venue

Last year was our first at Burl’s Creek for the festival, and it was gorgeous. There’s so much grass and space and opportunity to lounge on a hill, or get right up to the stage, or even lay down in the afternoon sun and relax/nap off your hangover.

Last year 40,000 people attended Boots & Hearts, in 2016 we’re probably going to be looking at 45,000… and there’s room for everyone!

Note: If you are attending B&H in 2016, use the garbage cans. The days are long, and if you start dropping trash on the ground at noon it’s really in the way by the time the headliners are off the stage at 11.

3) The Fans

45,000… that’s a big number. But after being present for all of Boots & Hearts 2015, and seeing the names that have been added to the 2016 festival already, we have no doubt that we’re going to get there.

That means 45,000 people singing and dancing and smiling and enjoying the hell out of a Thursday to Sunday experience.

It also means a boat load of people at the gates and near the stages and in the campgrounds, so we need y’all to be good to each other. Take care of your bro who drinks a little too much, give your best friend some water when she’s been out in the sun for hours, respect everyone and their property and we can all have the best weekend of the year.

4) The Emerging Talent

In years 1 through 4 we’ve seen some awesome emerging talent at Boots & Hearts. Tebey, Tim Hicks, Wes Mack, The Reklaws, Trinity Bradshaw, Runaway Angel, The James Barker Band, Eric Ethridge and more great acts have participated in the Sirius XM Emerging Artist Showcase. And we’ve seen acts like Sam Hunt, Dylan Scott, One More Girl, Danielle Bradbery, Jess Moskaluke and more hit the stage before they really became household names.

This year will be no different. With Cam, Jordan McIntosh, Cory Marquardt, Jojo Mason, and Jason Benoit already on the schedule we can promise that everyone is going to leave Boots & Hearts as a fan of someone they didn’t know you loved when you arrived.

5) The Surprises

Every year something awesome happens at Boots & Hearts that wasn’t scheduled and we didn’t know about ahead of time. We’ve seen Dean Brody roll out, and Jim Cuddy & Greg Keelor played hits for us. Last year we saw Tebey show up to give us Wake Me Up with Emerson Drive and got a HUGE pop from the crowd. There’s always something hidden up the sleeves of the B&H team…

And we can’t wait to see what it’s going to be during the 5th Anniversary Celebration!
