5 Quick Questions with The Lookout [’77 Montreal 2019 Preview]

The Lookout is our first 5 Quick Questions - '77 Montreal Preview!

It's been four months since we shared the lineup and ticket info for '77 Montreal, and we're excited to start sharing content with you! Remember '77 Montreal is happening on July 26th, in Montreal. The lineup boasts Bad Religion, Pennywise, Streetlight Manifesto, The Exploited, The Dirty Nil. Mute and The Anti-Queens.

The Lookout has been together for between 6 and 7 years. They've had some lineup changes in that time, and Martha was originally the drummer. After the exit of their first singer, Martha stepped up to the front, and they haven't looked back.

The Lookout is a Montreal punk band with Martha on lead vocals, Simon on bass and backing vocals, Frank on guitar and Nick on drums.

Thanks to Martha for taking the time to answer our questions. Here we go!

5 Quick Questions with The Lookout

Q1) If you're on a road trip, what's the one album you can listen to on repeat?

Martha) Repeat is for suckers but if I have to it's Danzig I.

Q2) Do you have any pre-show rituals?

Martha) A good meal, a few drinks and we usually share a good laugh over several jokes, funny or not!

Q3) What can fans expect from a live performance?

Martha) A lot of energy!

Q4) Is there a band or artist you think people should be paying more attention to?

Martha) At 77 Mtl, I think people should definitely have a look at The Dirty Nil. They're always super intense live. Also, Mute from Quebec city. Outside 77, go have a look at Maxxpower!

Martha) It's kid friendly!

BONUS QUESTION) Is there anything you want to share with our readers?
