Minutes Of Middle School Kids Busting Their Butt’s On Ice.
I have no clue who this guy is, nor do I remember who shared this on my Facebook newsfeed during the weekend, but the following clip is hilarious and oh so totally cruel all in the same facet.
To set the scene, this guy just arrived to pick up his daughter from what I presume to be a middle school. They live in a place where there’s a ton of snow and ice lingering on the ground. Waiting for his daughter to exit from her scholarly pursuits, it appears he’s doing what we all do when we get bored: playing with his smartphone. Then, he just so happens to notice a large patch of ice conveniently nestled right on the path kids begin taking as they exit the school.
What does he do? Get out and warn the kids there’s a latent hazard that could lead to them busting their asses and potentially breaking bones?
No Bleeping way, man!
Instead, he sits in his warm car and records these kids getting worked by the slick sidewalk for FIVE MINUTES. There’s also some great commentary.
I’m torn between whether this guy’s the early front-runner for Father of the Year 2014, or if he’s cruel and sadistic and his entire family is the exact same way.
The video made me laugh though, so I’m erring toward Father of the Year contention. I mean, all in all, it didn’t appear anyone was seriously hurt. I’d like to believe he would’ve stopped rolling if someone went down really, really hard.
Plus, his narration of the video and his daughter jumping into the car at the 3:30 mark to further make fun of the kids is hilarious.
I kind of felt bad for the kid who lost all his books, but then I immediately started laughing. Just couldn’t help it.
“Watch this kid, I guarantee you he’s gonna drill it,” he says, as the kid drills it. TFM.
