Over the past year or so I've been working on personalising my room. I've always wanted a really personal bedroom, filled with lots of meaningful things. Not so long ago I posted a few snaps of my bedroom which has become one of my most popular posts. So I thought I would continue with the bedroom decor theme and share some of my tips and tricks to easily decorating my bedroom wall. All of these tips involove little cost and are really simple to do.

Memory BoardSimply collect little memories of trips you have been on or places you have visited. For example, train tickets, plane tickets, theater tickets, and even labels of special clothing or items. Pin them all to a board and put it up on your wall.
Jewellery HangerTake a wire memories board and simply hang your necklaces onto it. They're pretty handy to hang jewelry on as they have lots of little slots (made for photos) that hang jewelry perfectly! I have a cream heart shaped board, bought from Home Sense.

Wall collage These are very similar to a memory board, but you don't need the cork board. Again, collect little memories of adventures you have been on and arrange them on your wall. My wall collage contains my memories of South Africa, I kept plane tickets, leaflets, photographs, etc, and arranged them on my wall.

Fairy lightsA really simple, yet effective way to bring some life to one of your walls. I hang mine like a washing line, but you could arrange them in a cool pattern to make them look more interesting. They can also be bought really cheaply, I buy mine for £4.99 from B&M Bargains and they last well over 6 months.
