It’s a scary place for LGBT people in Russia right now.
I’m in tears. I could care less about Snowden, but if this is where we are sending our elite athletes for the Olympics I’m all for boycotting them this time around. The hate and ignorance on the anti-gay protester’s faces is terrifying. The smiles and snickering of the police in the first photos are sickening.
Why does it matter who loves whom? Why? I just don’t get how it’s anyone’s business but their own. And it causes so much pain and sadness.
Russia needs a history lesson focused on Nazi Germany. What’s the saying…damned to repeat?
