The real estate along Highway 30A boasts some of the most scenic views in the Panhandle of Florida. This 19 mile stretch of highway has been designated as one of Florida’s Scenic Highways because of the natural beach forests, coastal dune lakes, emerald green waters, white sand and the abundance of wildlife in the area. The 30A real estate market contains 13 beach communities that are dotted along this coastal highway. The communities include Alys Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Dune Allen, Grayton Beach, Gulf Place, Inlet Beach, Rosemary Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Seacrest Beach, Seagrove Beach, Seaside, WaterColor and WaterSound. These beach communities can be found within the 32459 and 32413 zip codes.

The real estate within the 32459 zip code saw a median sales price of $226,250 (Nov 12 to Jan 13) with an average current listing price of $793,478 (week ending Feb 13). The median sales price increased by 18.6% year-over-year as the area has seen a bit of resurgence in area home buyers. The average price per square foot continues to increase to $207. This is a 32.7% increase year-over-year and a 3% increase in the last three months. There were 170 homes sold in the last quarter (Nov 12 to Jan 13).

Within the 32413 zip code saw a median sales price of $200,000 (Nov 12 to Jan 13) with an average current listing price of $544,170 (week ending Feb 13). The median sales price decreased by 2.9% year-over-year. The average price per square foot has increased to $199. This is a 21.3% increase year-over-year and a 29.22% increase in the last three months. There were 155 homes sold in the last quarter (Nov 12 to Jan 13).
