3 things to do with my 2013 calendar So, I came out with a butterfly calendar for 2013 based on the story of Thumbelina. And THEN, I accidentally reordered not once, not twice, but 3 times. Yes, I'm that slow. So, I have an abundance of butterfly calendars sitting here in my studio. I don't want them to go to waste, so I cam up with a few ideas that you can do with them. The printing on them is just lovely and it's printed on a wonderful cotton paper so it's nice and thick. Because of this, you can do so many wonderful things with them like...

OR, butterflies in your hair. Gah, the idea could be so 1997 (remember?!), but this approach is a bit different. Just stick them in your hair with some bobby pins. They're especially great for little girl's hair. 3 things to do with my 2013 calendar  OR, stick them on some skewers to top your cake or cupcake. Just add a little washi tape to the back.

Materials: scissors, my Thumbelina butterfly calendar (on clearance on The House That Lars Built Etsy shop), glue gun, wire, wrapped gift, glue gun
Step 1: Cut out the butterflies. Step 2: Using the curve of the wire, glue gun the wire to the top of the gift. I used three different strands of wire at different lengths to build it up. Step 3: Glue the butterflies to the wire. Step 4: Add some moss to the top to cover the wire and glue spots. Glue it down.
DONZO. Pretty spectacular with very little skill required. Also, I sprayed a bit of gold to the gift for a little va va va voom. 3 things to do with my 2013 calendar 3 things to do with my 2013 calendar 3 things to do with my 2013 calendar Again, find the calendar here.
