While most are spending the beginning of a new year at the gym or hitting the library, we music lovers have one thing on our minds — the incredible new albums we get to look forward to at the start of every year. As our 2015 list making proved to us, last year was both incredible and confusing (we still can’t get over liking not one but 3 Justin Beiber songs), and 2016 is proving to be one for the ages as well. With the long anticipated sophomore album by Frank Ocean on the table again as well as new records from David Bowie, Savages, Radiohead and Missy Fucking Elliot, it’s sure to be a year to remember. Of course, this doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the new artists, the debuts and the hidden gems that we always search for throughout the year. Here’s just a taste of what we are looking forward to in 2016, excuse us while we start our mad pre-ordering.
