Hi lovelies,
It's time for Topic 2 for #2014BloggerChallenge. This time round its all about skincare!
Cleansing & Moisturising

#2014BloggerChallenge: Topic 2 - Skincare
The most important part of my skincare routine has to be cleansing, I honestly don't think there is anything better than giving your skin a good cleanse. Especially after wearing makeup all day. My favorite thing to use when it comes to removing makeup (mainly eyes) I use the L'oreal Micellar Water, I love this stuff. Its super gently and is great at removing heavy eye makeup. I just pop some on a cotton pad then wipe away!
To cleanse the rest of my face I prefer to use a cleaning balm. My favorite one is Moa the green balm. I take around a 2p peace of balm warm it up in my hands and then wipe it all over my face and massage it in. To remove it afterwards I use a warm muslin cloth or a flannel. This cleansing balm leaves my face feeling lovely and soft.
After cleansing comes serums and moisturiser. The first thing I do is use my Hydraluron - this stuff is amazing! I have always suffered with the odd dry patches and this seems to really help, you don't need a lot of this stuff though so be careful not to squeeze out a lot - a little honestly does go a long way. Next I use my nspa Illuminating Beauty Serum, this product has a hint of shimmer in it so I normally just use it in the morning. After I have applied this my skin looks really radiant and healthy. I would definitely recommend it. Now its on to creams, the first one I use is my Simple eye cream. I just apply this under the eye and tap it in. My face cream of the moment is the Kiehls Ultra Facial Moisturizer, this stuff if great and you can use it day or night. It's not too heavy and it sinks in nicely.
Face Wipes

I know face wipes are said to be bad in the beauty world but sometimes you just need them. If I'm not feeling to good and I can't be bothered to remove all my makeup using the above products I just take a face wipe. At the moment I'm loving the Good Things Total Wipe Out Cleansing wipes, these are great because they smell of raspberry and cranberry! Yummy. The other wipes I like are the babies water wipes. These are obviously meant for babies but I found them so gently, and as the name suggests they are made up of mainly water - 99.9% to be exact.

The only thing I really use on my body is this Rituals Honey Touch Body Cream. I have to be honest I'm really lazy at moisturising my body, I hate doing it I find it such a chore and tend to forget to do it a lot. When I do remember this is the one I love to use. Its so luxurious and feels so soft and creamy when you apply it. It also has an amazing scent which stays around all day.
I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if your part of the #2014BloggerChallenge
