The foot division of the 2012 Arrowhead 135 ultra was won by Jason Buffington in a record time of 37:16:00. Fifty runners took to tha start line on the 30th of January along with 59 bikers and 9 skiers. Conditions were milder than usual and there was a higher percentage of finishers to match that.
