S.Shankar's 2.0 made with an estimated budget of ₹543 crore, is by far the most expensive Indian film ever made.
The upcoming science fiction film consists of the same core team which earlier made Enthiran. Featuring Rajnikanth who will reprise the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar who will be seen playing the antagonist, Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain etc. 2.0 is not a sequel but as the makers mentioned is a spiritual successor of Rajnikant starrer 2010 Tamil film Enthiran/Robot.The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on 29 November 2018
