Igoan challenging myself to create a makeup look for £20. I am doing this challenge to go with the £60 outfit challenge to create a whole look for under £80. Here is how I did and you will have to wait till the end to find out if I managed!
The first item I chose was foundation and I have picked Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation at £8.99(here) I chose this because ita a good foundation applies easily and available in lots of different shades.
Next is the eyes and first and eyeshadow palette and I have chosen one by MUA and it is their Professional eye trio in Innocence (here) I chose this because of the neutral colours it meant you could create a very neutral eye. It costs £2.50 which I think is a great price.
Next for the eye an eye liner (here) I have chosen this eyeliner by NYC and it is their 7 inch Jet Black Eyeliner. Priced at £1.49 that's pretty good.
Last of all for the eye- mascara (here) I have chosen NYC volumising Masacara in Black. Mascara is a must have product in any makeup look and for £1.99 this mascara is a bargain. It's non clump and the formula is fantastic.
For this look I am going to use a lipgloss. (here) this lipgloss is by MUA and the color (shade 3) is such a gorgeous pink. Moisturises your lips and makes them look delicious. This is from MUA's £1 collection hence it is £1!!
We also need a blusher to round of the look. (here) I chose an MUA blush in shade one. I have used this myself many times and love it. For £1 this blushers gives your cheeks that needed color. It adds that bit of flush to your cheeks and rounds off the look.
Obviously we need make up brushes and I found these bargains at amazon... (here) all the brushes you could possibly wish for at the price of £2.19.
So here are the products that create this makeup look... And at a total of £19.16 I would say that was a challenge well done and a definite pass!! I hope you like the products I have chosen and as I said in my last challenge post if you have a budget challenge I would very much like to accept it.
