From Greg Shaw's book The Doors On The Road:
This early rendition of "Moonlight Drive" features Morrison and Manzarek collectively on vocals. After the first two stanzas, they engage in a long "call and response", untile Morrison brings it back with his "You got fishes for your friends" poetry, and then comes in with the concluding verses. "Back Door Man" opens with some peculiar yelps and growls by Morrison, followed by a brief harmonica section. During the instrumental break, he brings out the harp again, playing both alongside and after Krieger's lead. Overall, it is a very unusual version of this song.- These songs are among the earliest known live recordings of the Doors: however, the exact date and location remain unconfirmed.
My notes:
There are two versions for each song, one is a stereo reconstruction, the other is the original mono. I've read that some say that the correct date should actually be May 1967.
