From Greg Shaw's book The Doors On The Road:The Doors reportedly appear at the Gladsaxe Television-Byen studio at ten in the moming, not exactly an ideal time to capture them in performance. With no audience other than the camera crew to interact with, they make a valiant effort to reproduce a live performance on film. Although they appear to suffer from want of sleep, they are determined to provide a show for an invisible audience of television viewers who will see them across parts of Europe. The show is introduced by Edmondt Jensen. Note: These recordings of "Love Me Two Times" and "Texas Radio and the Big Beat" were included in the album Alive She Cried and the video "Dance on Fire."
My notes:This audio is directly taken from the Danish TV transmission, which, although in black and white, represents one of the best documents of The Doors performing their songs without cuts or silly interpositions. The audio/visual quality is excellent compared to the "The Doors Are Open" broadcast. For this reason, this appearance has been extensively looted to create posthumous documentaries, movies and songs compilations. However, even though the songs are masterly performed, the detached tone of the show prevents it from being truly memorable.Differently from what they used to play, Texas Radio And The Big Beat is followed by Love Me Two Times instead of Hello, I Love You.Sadly, no recording exists of the concert they performed the night before at the Falkonet Centret in Copenhagen.
