At 22, Ray Manzarek was vocalist and pianist for a college jazz group with fellow UCLA students John Hallibertan on bass and Sam Beale on drums. This tape, recorded at the legendary West Coast jazz club The Lighthouse in Hermosa Beach, California, is the earliest live audio of Manzarek and features mostly jazz covers. The only original is Ray's Ikin Retnin.
