There are thousands of gorgeous and unique designs and styles for a backyard, and we've listed just 19 here. Have a look!

The Garden Studio
This garden studio looks like it was taken right out of the movie, Mulan. It's mesmerizing and offers a beautiful place to rewind and relax.

The City View
This backyard is short on space, but the designer utilized every square foot by adding retaining walls, patio sets for outdoor eating, and gazebos that cover the social area.

The Designer Deck
The time and effort put into the gigantic deck (shown below) is why this backyard makes our list. The intuitive design and flow make it an outdoor dweller's dream. There's plenty of area to entertain kids and adults, and no one has to worry about getting ticks and chiggers in the yard.

All I can say is wow! This home has a pool that looks like a sparkling lagoon, water slide and waterfall included! The decorative stone wall continues along into the stone oven, pulling the entire area together.

The Terraced Garden
This house full of windows offers a beautiful view of the courtyard, while the spiraling staircase adds the perfect touch. Steps and pathways wind through the retaining walls, giving the yard a geometric flavor. Thought-provoking, to say the least.

The Remote Hideaway
If you're looking for seclusion, this is the yard for you. The high concrete walls and creeping ivy make this area feel far away from the busy world on the other side. As the nights turn chilly, curl up with a blanket on the patio cushions and light a fire in the fireplace.

The Estate
From what we've seen so far, the most beautiful backyards have dedicated spaces for each area. The yard below has a fire pit surrounded by chairs to shoot the breeze, and further back you can see the outdoor dining area. Foliage and architectural designs add just the right amount of character.

The Secret Garden
The garden shown here reminds me of an English courtyard. There are a colorful array of flowers following the concrete path. This yard also has a greenhouse - a must have for green thumbs! I bet these flowers overwhelm the senses when walking through them.

The Outdoor Man Cave

A River Runs Through It
A creek runs through the whole of this backyard. It's man-made, which is even more mind-boggling. However, it adds calm, rustic ambiance, and listening to the sound of trickling water can be a good way to relax.

The Urban Escape
If living in the concrete jungle, you might be cramped for space. That doesn't mean you have to look at an ugly yard. This elongated space offers plenty of room for entertaining! The wooden walls add a sleek touch and privacy.
