11/21: Quopic of the Day

Posted on the 21 November 2011 by Eric And Sookie Lovers @EricSookieLover

I suddenly realized, I COMPLETELY forgot to post the Quopic of the Day yesterday (Sunday, November 20)!

11/21: Quopic of the Day

I’m terribly sorry about that! To make it up to you, this will be a 2-4-1 Quopic of the Day – both of them will be taken from the books!

Here’s the Quopic of the Day (a day late and a dollar short) for November 20th!

11/21: Quopic of the Day

He gathered me up like an armful of clothes and held me to him. I got his lovely suit jacket wet and snotty, and his pristine white shirt was spotless no more.

“Oh, I’m so sorry!” I held back and looked at his ensemble. I swabbed it with the scarf.

“Don’t cry again,” he said hastily. “Just don’t start crying again, and I won’t mind taking this to the cleaners. I won’t even mind getting a whole new suit.”

I thought it was pretty amusing that Eric, the dread master vampire, was afraid of weeping women. I sniggered through the residual sobs.

“Something funny?” he asked.

I shook my head. I slid my key in the door and we went in.

“I’ll help you into the tub if you like, Sookie,” Eric offered.
“Oh, I don’t think so.” A bath was what I wanted more than anything else in the world, that and to never put on these clothes again, but I sure wasn’t taking a bath with Eric anywhere around.

“I’ll bet you are a treat, naked,” Eric said, just to boost my spirits.
“You know it. I’m just as tasty as a big éclair,” I said, and carefully settled into a chair. “Though at the moment I feel more like boudain.”

~Book 2, Living Dead In Dallas

I love this first Quopic – because picture above is to die for! Thanks to Queen Haq, an artwork maker and fanfic writer for making it! This is one of my favorite quotes from the second book in the series! We find out Eric hates crying women, but it still doesn’t stop him from hitting on Sookie! LOL Another thing I love, is the way Eric takes Sookie’s mind off her problems!

Here’s the Quopic of the Day for November 21st!

“Wait one moment,” he said suddenly, and justlikethat he was in front of me. I looked up, feeling massively tired.
He bent and kissed me on my mouth, as softly as a butterfly’s fluttering.
“You said I told you you were the best I’d ever had,” he said. “But did you respond in kind?”
“Don’t you wish you knew?” I said, and went back to work.

~Book 5, Dead As A Doornail

What I love most about this quote, is Eric does this – even though he doesn’t remember their time together. Love their wordplay back and forth! ♥
