When coming up with today’s Quopic of the Day – we decided to turn to the books once again!
But there’s a catch…this quopic was inspired by the Word of the Day too!
The word of the day is: euphoric
Definition: a feeling of extreme happiness and well-being; elation.
There’s one Eric and Sookie scene that pops out in my mind where they feel euphoric! Just in case you haven’t read Dead Reckoning yet…this may contain spoilers for you! Read at your own risk!

Here’s the Quopic of the Day for November 2nd!
“Come on, Eric,” I said, when my aftershocks were still rippling through me. “Come on!” And I moved faster than I’d imagined I was able.
“Sookie!” he gasped, and gave me one last huge thrust followed by the sound that I might have thought was primal pain if I hadn’t known much better.
It was magnificent, it was exhausting, and it was completely excellent.
We stayed on the swing for at least thirty minutes, recovering, cooling off, and holding each other. I was so happy and relaxed I didn’t want to move…

This sure sounds like Sookie is feeling euphoric to me!
For those who have read Dead Reckoning, you probably remember this as the only sex scene between Eric and Sookie in this book.
You may recall this happened on a porch swing – bringing new meaning to the phrase, ‘If you see this place a-rockin’…don’t come a-knockin’!’ Haha!
You find out Eric is into monkey sex. And there is “nothing civilized about sex with Eric.”
We also learned to always plan ahead and be prepared…have an ice pack handy for when your ‘yahoo palace’ may begin to hurt!
