10/25: Quopic of the Day

Today’s Quopic was inspired by the Word of the Day from  Yahoo Education Word of the Day for October 22nd. I know it’s kind of on the wrong day, so shoot me, but…I wanted to share the other Quopics more!

The Word of the Day is:  solace

Definition: To comfort or console

There’s many moments we’ve seen on True Blood, where Eric and Sookie are consoling each other. Mind you, many of them were fantasies or dreams…but we’ll take what we can get!

I’ve decided to go back in time to one great scene when Sookie gives Eric some sweet solace!

Here’s the Quopic of the Day for October 25th!

You may recall in this scene above…Sookie fantasized that she went to see Eric to look in on him, and to provide solace, as he mourned the loss of his maker, Godric. Eric was crying. Sookie looked like her heart was breaking for Eric. And we were crying because it was the sweetest scene! I mean, really…have we ever seen anything like this between Bill and Sookie? I think not…

What I wish most about this scene…was that this should have really happened and not be a dream/fantasy of Sookie’s! It would have been understandable, since Sookie witnessed the look on Eric’s face, when he found out Godric wanted to ‘meet the sun’.
