100 Year Rest (Champagne Cadillac) – Elephants In Mud

Posted on the 03 April 2013 by Timothy Purdy

Elephants In Mud are normally known for their alternative/dub sound that you would usually associate with a party and maybe a circle consisting of good friends and a fat blunt. However, their latest album hold sounds a little different than before.

Straying away from the feel of their previously released song Johnny Cocaine back in 2011, this year they sound a bit more like graduated garage rock. Everything seems to come together quite well. Riffs with intent, solid consistent bass and a voice that wants you to understand; it leaves you wanting more.
