It’s almost here! Tomorrow, we can finally post what our team has been working on day and night, secretly squealing with excitement over every edit — it’s finally time to premiere Season 2 of Welcome Campers! We’re so pleased to be able to share the videos and bands we love with everyone, so, of course, we’re doing the only thing we can think of to celebrate: making a list! This playlist, full of bands that came up to camp with us and others that are simply necessary for the full camp experience, can be your soundtrack to all your summer camp needs.Whether you’re dancing on the last night of camp, taking kickball way too seriously, or hanging around a fire being all gooey and emotional, we have the soundtrack for you.

1. So So Glos – Lost Weekend
This is basically what our Welcome Campers experience was — except that we documented the whole thing, so it can never be lost. These guys absolutely killed when we were at camp, playing for all sorts of crazy battles during color war.
2. The White Stripes – We’re Gonna Be Friends
Here’s the quintessential first-day-of-camp/school song that perfectly encapsulates the innocence of childhood friendships, which were exactly like the friendships we made at camp (awwwww).
3. Great Good Fine OK – Not Going Home
Another one of the awesome bands that played at this year’s Welcome Campers — they got the whole camp dancing to their sweetly infectious pop sounds. You can chant the chorus to this while you get on the bus to sadly go back home.
4. You Won’t – Television
Listen, this is just the perfect campfire sing-along and no one can tell you differently.
5. Yellerkin – Solar Laws
Here’s another Welcome Campers Season 2 band with whom we reveled under the stars, and it was just as delightful as you would imagine. Let them lull you to a dream world with their darling tracks and gentle banjo.
6. SKATERS – Schemers
Another track to get your revved up for all the games of camp — from the band that brought you Arts and Crafts this year comes a song that gives you the energy to bead ALL DAY LONG!
7. Younger Me – Tag
Yet another one of the spectacular bands that played this year’s Welcome Campers. Their tracks are perfect for a free spirited chase around the water before lunch.
8. Yellow Ostrich – My Moons
Guys, seriously get out of the city because the stars are freaking incredible. For extra awesome, throw on this gorgeous track from Welcome Campers Season 1 alums Yellow Ostrich.
9. Freelance Whales – Generator (First Floor)
Perfect for hugging your friends around the fire and belting out “we’re finding everyday several ways that we can be friends.”
10. Janet Jackson- It’s All For You
If you don’t think that this is the perfect song to end any camp dance party with, I will fight you.
