10 No-Carve Pumpkins for a Festive Halloween What I love about Halloween decor is that it can be anything, from frightening zombies to adorable jack-o-lanterns. I love how carved pumpkins look beautiful lit up at night, but I’m not the first to dig right into the mess that comes with it. But what I really don’t like about carved pumpkins, is that all your hard and beautiful work lasts just a few days. With so many creative and equally spookish no-carve ideas, I’ve stuck to painting my gourds come Halloween, plus they make pumpkin decorating much more kid-friendly.
