Kaabil: Directed by directed by Sanjay Gupta and written by Vijay Kumar Mishra Kaabil stars Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam as the lead pair. The crime thriller portrays the story of a visually impaired married couple whose life comes to a halt after the wife gets raped by somebody with political connections. The revenge of the husband forms the rest of the story. The film was produced by Rakesh Roshan under his banner FilmKraft.

Firangi: Starring Kapil Sharma, who is also the producer, along with Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill, Firangi is about an Indian man during the struggle days who strongly believes that the British are not as bad. Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, the movie portrays a picture of an uneducated and jobless young man who dreams of joining the Police Force but due to some reason or the other, is unsuccessful.

Raess: Raees is a movie directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under their respective banners. The movie is said to be based on the life of criminal Abdul Latif, though the makers declared the movie to be a work of fiction. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan, though the film was a critical and commercial success, more was expected out of Shahrukh Khan.

Tubelight: Written and directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight stars Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Zhu Zhu, Matin Rey Tangu and Om Puri. It is an adaptation of the American film 'Little Boy'.
