10 Last Minute Music-Related Christmas Gifts

If you're still wondering what gift to get for the music lover on your Christmas list, maybe we can help.

We're running down the top 10 last minute music-related Christmas gifts.

1. Books

Head to the bookstore's music section, your online book retailer, or gift an e-version. There's still time!

The options are extensive, but at the top of our list is Geddy Lee's brand new release, Geddy Lee's Big Beautiful Book of Bass. The world-renowned vocalist, bass player and Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer has put out a unique, lavishly illustrated, full-colour compendium showcasing over two hundred rare, iconic, beautiful, and sometimes eccentric bass guitars from his extensive collection. This one is perfect for the bass player/lover on your list.

2. Earplugs

If your special someone spends a lot of time at live shows, this one is important. The prices range from under $5 for disposable foam earplugs to hundreds of dollars for fully customized earplugs. I use Downbeats. I love that they come with their own carrying case that I can clip to my keys so that I always have them when I need them. They come in multiple colours, and I like to carry a spare pair just in case. These earplugs are around the $10 mark, and they do the trick for me. While you're ordering, throw in an extra pair for yourself.
