So here i am with my very first post on Beauty and Beyond for which i will always be grateful to Jhilmil mam! ❤️
Before we knew it, India was wrapped in the snuggly blanket of the cool fall months! And with winters comes what? The potency to wear as bold and sultry lipsticks as we want--and i personally love winters for this freedom of makeup that it gives! From cherry reds, to oxblood maroons, to deep plums and boldest of the bold shades! And for you sweethearts, i have a whole bunch of options of lipsticks for you guys to choose from this winter season! Let's dig in to know more about these gorgeous babies! :)
1. Colorbar velvet matte in All Fired Up
As jhilmil mam very aptly puts it, Colorbar Velvet Matte lipstick in All Fired up is perhaps the most pocket friendly, long staying and moisturising red lipstick that Indian drugstore makeup has ever seen! It is just the perfect red shade for the indian skin tones with just the right undertones to it! A very flattering red which stays put with a gorgeous velvety matte finish for more than 6 hours at a stretch!
2. L'Oreal Paris L'Or Lumiere Colour Riche Moist Matte Lipstick in Glamour Fuchsia:No fall lipstick compilation post is complete without a good fuchsia lipstick included in it! (And i have not one, not two but three fuchsia options for you guys)! If you have used or even seen this lippie in person you know why it is one of loreal's best-sellers! A very pretty fuschia almost tailor made to suit warm indian skin tones and will flatter all skin tones be it pale or dark! Plus the moist matte finish is to die for, trust me!
3. Chambor Powder Matte Lipstick In Pink Flamingo
This range of powder matte lipsticks has been all the rage since the time it made its entry in the indian market! This particular Powder Matte lipstick in pink flamingo is a very gorgeous blue-toned, bright pink lipstick leaning more towards a cool fuchsia shade! A go to for all my bold women out there! :)
4. NYC Ultra Moist Lipstick in 309 Sheer Red
My first and perhaps the only fall perfect deep red- oxblood kind of shade is the Nyc Ultra moist lipstick in sheer red. True to its name the lipstick is a deep red which truly is sheer and looks amazing! Plus the pigmentation for a sheer lipstick is something which i am a fan of! It feels so moisturising and is sure to add that much needed warmth on the skin during the cooler months!
5. Maybelline Colorshow Lipstick in Fuchsia Flambe-
My first and the most budget friendly fuchsia lipstick is this little baby from Maybelline. I have not come across a better shade of fuchsia in my entire lipstick timeline! The shade has the most perfect yellowish warm tones to the otherwise bright fuchsia, making it a bold but not in your face bright kind of lipstick shade! For just under 300 bucks, this one is the shade i'll suggest all you indian beauties to buy!
6. Colorbar Velvet Matte in Peach Crush
When i first bought this shade i was sure to fall in love with it but on my first swipe i kind of detested it like i had detested none other! But it was most probably because i was not mentally prepared to adorn as bright and bold a shade as Peach crush! Do not let the name fool you it does not have even an ounce of peach to it! Instead it is a very bold orangey coral shade leaning almost towards an orangey red! A gorgeous fall shade for college going girls if you ask me!
7. Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in Pleasure Me Red
This is the most creamiest red lipstick my lips have ever adorned in their lifetime! This lipstick has the most perfect yellow undertones that a red lipstick can have! Of Course, i have topped off my lipstick with a gloss here so it appears a tad bit more glossy, but trust me this is the creamiest red lippie i have ever worn!
8. Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick in XOXO
Again, i come back to a bright pink which is perfect for the upcoming fall months! Maybe i am partial but i prefer my pinks to my reds and thus! So coming back, i thought it my duty to incorporate as much budget friendly options as i could for my readers convenience! So here is this very gorgeous, vibrant yet very wearable warm toned bright pink which is a perfect option for the less daring who still want to adorn the fall makeup trend!
9. Maybelline 14 hour Super stay Lipstick in Always Plum
Come fall and we do not talk of our favorite plum lipsticks--nah! Not possible! Not at all! Plums are the perfect fall option and what better to include a budget friendly, universally flattering plum shade which has a gorgeous creamy matte finish which also stays put for long! This neutral toned plum lipstick is the most fantabulous option for indian beauties, especially the dark skinned goddesses!
10. Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in Totally Toffee
A good nude lipstick never hurt, be it spring, summer or fall! The right nude lipstick shade adds the gorgeousness that none other shade can! Maybelline colorsensational in totally toffee is a renowned and a very flattering brownish nude for indian skin tones and is the perfect on the go lip color to add to your fall makeup collection!
