WISDOM KEYS TO LIVE BY
1. Be careful of the choices that you make because at some point you will be held accountable: be it good or bad decisions. Joseph's brothers found that out as they faced the brother that they once betrayed.
2. Let us not be like the pharisees who missed out on their blessings because they had a 'respect of persons' and could not fathom receiving from Jesus Christ (the son of a carpenter). They were so lost and full of themselves that they couldn't even recognize the Lord of Lord and King of King in their midst. (Now pause and just think about that for a moment). Have you ever been in a service and felt the presence of God at work, but the layperson got up and quenched the spirit to make announcements, collect the offering, or simply to follow the program. Lord, help us to repent for any area of our lives where we have quenched your spirit. Let us be true worshipers! Glory Be To God!
3. God "rescues the humble, but humiliates the proud." This scripture makes it plain, and I am continually crying out to God to have a loving and humble spirit. We ought not to think too highly of ourselves because when its all said and done, we can't even 'bat our eyelashes' unless God allows it!
Lord God, we willingly bow down to you Lord of lords and King of kings!
