I hate that word. Hate it as much as I hate Limited Edition. I know it's a sales ploy but for persons new on the make-up game (ie me) it's a bit frustrating to do a search, see a totally fabulous product only to find out that it was either discontinued or part of some never to return (but sometimes re-promoted) limited edition collection. What's even worse is that I have been tempted to pay the ridiculous e-bay prices just for the sake of owning said product (thankfully I haven't caved and hopefully never will). But these companies surely know what they're doing. I mean, why for heavens sake would they discontinue a product that is a cult favorite? 
Case in point:

I am convinced that this is THE perfect red lipstick for me. Never tried it. But I love the way it looks. and now it will belong to those bunch of cult-love products that have reach discontinued fame :(

I can't even trust ebay with this one because there are so many fakes out there that I'd blow a fuse it I spent an ridiculous amount on a fake product. Cyndi haunts me too. It seems as though every blogger on my list owns cyndi and sports her during those moments when I get hit with a 'I really need to get my hands on this' moment.

Products that you used to love that were heartlessly removed from shelves that have left you gutted?
