The holidays look different, and mean different things to different people (and different age groups … haha). Once you turn 30, anything starting after 6pm is too late and you go back to living as a kid again, so brunch is a great option for getting your friends together for a Friendsgiving meal. And who doesn’t like brunch? Am I right?  However, enjoying good food and company is on everyone’s books. This is the time of the year to get all of your favorite people together and make memories aka planning a Friendsgiving Brunch.

And the key to a successful Friendsgiving meal is ensuring there is a flow of fun as well as a hearty meal. Here is all you need to do this year:

Something to eat: Give the good ol’ French Toast a twist.

My love for French Toast is no surprise around here. After months of gorging on delicious versions of French Toast, I found the perfect one to recreate during fall time. Corn-Bread French Toast. This is something you can whip up with leftover plain cornbread and it comes out perfectly delicious. Just keep in mind that corn-bread is crumbly in nature so it is going to give you a little bit of trouble while dipping in the egg mixture. I recommend using a delicate hand doing the dipping and flipping and you should be good.

Something to do: Have a thankful pumpkin guest book.

We all have many things to be grateful for. Instead of putting people (especially shy ones) on the spot by going around the table, dedicate a white pumpkin as a place for guests to write their thoughts. You’ll be surprised to see what shows up on it by the end of the night.

Something to drink: Try one of the Cupcake wines to celebrate

Have glasses of Prosecco or Sparkling Rosé from Cupcake Vineyards to go around, and be the hostess with the mostess at your Friendsgiving. Cupcake has unique flavors that pair well with fun and celebrations. Their line of delicious, complex wines are made for those who choose to find little moments of joy every day. My favorite is the Sparkling Rosé with delicate floral hints and notes of strawberry? .. The fine bubbles and soft fruit flavors make this wine especially fitting for those who enjoy a dry finish . It’s a great glass of wine to enjoy with brunch, as well as dinner.

Cupcake Vineyards wines would also make a great gift to give to your friends. (I am just sayin’!).

You won't find it on the calendar, but a name for this annual festivity — Friendsgiving Brunch — has officially made it into the common lexicon.
