Well, it turns out that Showtime isn’t moving forward with the second season of Uncoupled after all. I don’t know why. I was so excited to see this show getting saved. Maybe Netflix will change its mind, and bring the show back?

I immediately jumped in on a second episode of Three Body Problem (Netflix), which is narrated by Darren Polish, so I could have a better understanding of the show and its audio description. I think the show actually has really good audio description, which really comes into play as they spend a lot more time in the second episode exploring the video game. Some of the stuff that happens in the game is kinda horrifying, but well described. The show gets better in the second episode, as it feels less like it is trying to cram everything and everyone into one episode, and it lets each storyline breathe a bit more, and have a bit more fun.

Masters Of The Air’s (Apple plus) 8th episode focused a lot on the contributions of the Tuskegee Airmen, and eventually following the story of two pilots who end up captured at the prison camp. Masters Of The Air consistently has great audio description, and this episode was no different. They manage to balance a broad cast at this point, and it is pretty impressive. If you have a chance, also check out the companion documentary The Bloody Hundredth now on Apple Plus.

This weeks episode of Not Dead Yet (Hulu) didn’t leave me hanging on audio description. Perhaps Vi-Tech is trying a bit more? There were a few entrances I could have used, but my brain put it together. Especially the final joke before the episode finished. Knowing where we were and how that entrance was would have made that scene funnier. There is audio description there, I just think I would have worded it differently.

And finally, Ghosts (Paramount Plus) tried to revive Flower, but they couldn’t, because she didn’t ascend! Instead, they gained a ghost, so now someone is stuck with their ex-wife around.
