Episode 7 – Marge Gets a Job
Couch Gag – This time the heads are all on the wrong bodies and switching heads happens.
Plot Synopsis – Marge takes a job at the nuclear plant to help pay for the house’s foundation repair, and Mr. Burns is smitten by her.
What is going on really – The episode starts as the Simpson’s home start to slip and Homer wanting to half arse it tries an idiot’s DVD, before Marge calls in an expect. The house becomes a tourist attraction but does need to be fixed leading to Marge considering getting a job.
While attending a retirement party for an elderly member of staff, we see the ruthless natural of Mr Burns but with the new job opening Marge is open to apply for the job.
Homer questions how he can work with Marge and spend time at home but Grandpa Simpson looking after Maggie becomes its own side story. we do get a lot of flash vision in this episode. The episode takes a turn when Mr Burns falls in love Marge wanting to win her heart. We also get to see how Bart learns the moral of the Cry Wolf story.

Final Thoughts – This is a good episode of the show where we get to see how couple’s working together could struggle but money is important to make sure the family stays secure.
