Story: The Obscure Life of the Grand Duke of Corsica starts when an architect Alfred Rott (Spall) takes a new role to build a mausoleum for an eccentric billionaire the Grand Duke of Corsica (Stormare).
As Alfred gets to know the Grand Duke, he learns what he is trying to build, as the area starts seeing a new pandemic rising around the area, seeing many of the locals getting sick, or worse.

Thoughts – The Obscure Life of the Grand Duke of Corsica is a comedy that will see a couple of unusual characters coming together to leave us wondering what is going on, why this is needed for certain scenes in the film. This is a very odd movie that doesn’t seem to get enough comedy out of the story, leaving us wanting more, rather than giving us a completed story. The performances are fine, with the actors doing the best they can with the weaker dialog being used through the film. This is a comedy that feels lost in the middle of nowhere, which will leave you want more and getting nothing much.
Final Thoughts – The Obscure Life of the Grand Duke of Corsica is a flat comedy going nowhere fast.
