Story: Shark Bait starts when a group of friends, Nat (Earl), tom (Trueman), Milly (Hannay), Tyler (Pullar-Latchman) and Greg (Flynn) are on spring break. They have a wild night on drinks, lasting till morning. Here, they decide to steal jet skis and head out to open water.

Once out at open water, they decide to act stupid, causing a crash, damaging one of the jet skis, while the other needs repairing. They must figure out how to survive the situation, only for things to get worse, when a great white shark decides it wants to hunt them down if they are in the water.

Verdict on Shark Bait

Shark Bait is another shark attack movie that puts a group in a difficult situation to fight back against a hunger shark. In this case, we get a group of annoying college students with no respect or regard for anything, acting recklessly. Apart from Nat, who is pressured into every decision by the others, the other characters are nothing but stupid.

The shark looks horribly CGI, to the level where they have to cover up most of the attacks, from behind or below the water. Decision-making is not one of the strengths of any of the characters in the movie. The strongest part of the movie comes from the excellent effects used to show injuries.

Final Thoughts Shark Bait is a standard shark attack movie.
