The team of the upcoming Bollywood film ‘Shamitabh’ directed by filmmaker R. Balki is organising a special concert to celebrate the famous music composer Ilaiyaraaja’s 1000th film run.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will perform live to the Piddly track while Dhanush will croon some of Ilaiyaraaja’s choicest hits.
When asked, director R. Balki said: “I really wanted to do something for Ilaiyaraaja who has composed the songs for my film too. One thousand films is no joke! It truly is a lot of films! And, we have to celebrate the milestone. And, despite a last minute request, I am told Southern superstars Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan will also make it to the grand evening.”
