Noted filmmaker Anurag Singh Kashyap‘s ‘ Raman Raghav 2.0’, a thriller film based on notorious serial killer Raman Raghav, also known as psycho Raman, who terrorised the Mumbai streets in the mid 1960s, will premiere at the upcoming 69th Cannes International Film Festival.
“ ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ to premiere at Cannes Directors Fortnight. Congratulations team”, Kashyap tweeted on Tuesday.
The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role alongside Vicky Kaushal. The film is written and directed by Anurag Kashyap.
This is not the first time Kashyap’s film is going to be aired at Cannes. His previous films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Peddlers and Bombay Talkies have been premiered at the awards gala.
The 2016 Cannes International Film Festival is scheduled to take place from 11th of May till 22nd of May.
