“Saturday Night Live” Delivered A Sexual Harassment Pop Anthem Last Night

On Saturday Night Live last night, Alec Baldwin made his 987,829th appearance as Jabba the Trump (in a skit that also featured an appearance by Beck Bennett’s Putin nips), but the skit that’s really making the rounds today is the sexual harassment pop anthem called Welcome To Hell that was cooed out by the women of SNL and Saoirse Ronan (who gave me baby Erika Jayne meets baby Baby Spice. So Fetus Spice, basically).

While wearing looks picked up at a Limited Too clearance sale in 1999, Cecily Strong, Saoirse, Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant (featuring Leslie Jones and Melissa Villaseñor) sang SNL’s response to the world getting hit by the news of alleged balls of predatory ass jelly like Harvey Weinstein, Brett Ratner, Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose, Louis C.K., Ed Westwick, Russell Simmons, Roy Moore and Al Franken (who was defended by some past female SNL cast members). I definitely left out a name, or five hundred million, from that list, so forgive me.

Welcome to Hell is basically a bubblegum pop song about how women have been sexually harassed for centuries, and it includes lyrics like:

I guess it buh-begs the question, “Whoa, why didn’t you say something, baby girl?” Well dang, double daddy, we definitely did…for hundreds of years.

Here’s the full video and it takes me back to the moment my mom grabbed her heap of keys (these were the days before keyless entry, okay?) and taught my sister all about key claws!

It looks like the SNL writers tip-toed over to the writers room for My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and held up a cup to the door.

And while I agree that 99% of vans are nightmare chambers on wheels, some aren’t. Case in point: The Mystery Machine. The Scooby Doo Gang used theirs for good things, like solving crimes! #NotAllVansButMostVans
