My Experience With This Product:

Right after applying a thin layer of the product on my face, I immediately felt the uncomfortable tingling sensation that lasted about a minute or so. It left my skin squeaky clean but super dry and tight. After about 4 hours, my undereye area started to get a little bit of puffy, but I just ignored it because I didn’t know what caused it and thought that it would just go away.

The next day when I woke up, I yawn and felt that my face was super dry and it was uncomfortable to move my face, and in addition to that, it was super itchy. I looked at the mirror and my face was red, rashed, super dry, flaky, burned, neck was itchy and red as well, and my eyes were puffy!

5 days later, eyes weren’t that puffy anymore, but the undereye area was still dry. My mouth area was the most affected because it was the driest part of them all and it just burned my skin. It was just so itchy and dry that there were times when I had a hard time opening my mouth. I now have 2 big circular patch of dark burned skin just a little bit below the sides of my mouth.

Based from what you read, you could probably tell that this cleanser didn’t work for me at all. I have sensitive skin and this cleanser gave me bad allergic reactions that lasted more than a week.  I didn’t go to the doctor or anything, I just waited for it go away on its own and bring back my face’s moisture and tried some home remedies. I had to moisturize every 2 hours or so or else the peeling would be visible again. No fun! It literally looked like I had dry saliva all over my mouth! Trying this product was just the worst nightmare for me. If you’ve been following me on twitter (@casualsanctuary), you’ve probably seen my posts regarding this allergy. Now my job is to bring back my face’s normal state :(

Have you guys tried this cleanser? What were your thoughts?

From now on, I’ll definitely be doing the skin test before trying something :( please tell me you guys don’t it or at least not that much.

Also, if you have any tips on what should I do to lighten the burned parts, please let me know. I’d really appreciate it.
