Hello everyone! Today’s post is about my review of the new Super Sizer mascara by Covergirl.
As part of the BzzAgent community, I was one of the chosen to try this product for review purposes. Along with the mascara, I also got 5 coupons to give away to family & friends ($2 OFF). I would love to share the coupon with you guys, but unfortunately, you are not within my reach. When it comes to mascara, I’m not really a fan of Covergirl products, but you’ll see how this one worked.
Here’s some details from the Covergirl website:
The Super Sizer by LashBlash Mascara gives you 400% more corner-to-corner volume for full, fanned out lashes. Our amazing lash styler transforms even small lashes–just twirl as you apply it to your lashes for an instantly Super Sized lash look. Opthalmologically tested, suitable for those who wear contact lenses.

❀ Price: around $7 (depends where you buy it)
So what exactly were my thoughts? 400% is a big claim, but unfortunately, for me, this product did not held up to that claim. You guys know that I’m all for the skinny wands with tiny bristles, but this failed me. It did give me a little bit of volume and length, but it made my lashes clumpy and sticking straight (as if all my lashes were all of the same length). It lasts all day and doesn’t smudge or flake, but since it’s not waterproof, it didn’t hold my curls.
Packaging-wise, I didn’t really like it. Probably because I’m used to mascaras with slim packaging, and this one is a bit bigger than those that I normally use.
This mascara reminds me of the L’Oreal Miss Manga Rock, which I posted a [review] about a few months ago. They’re a bit similar but the Miss Manga Rock has a wetter formula and makes my lashes more clumpy than this.
Overall, I would rate this mascara a 3/5. If it didn’t make my lashes clumpy, I would’ve liked it. If you’re someone who’s into that clumpy look, then I guess this is still worth a try.
