Verdict on Raquel 1:1

Raquel 1:1 is a thriller following a stranger moving to a new town to be with their family. They soon start to try and make friends, which sees them believing in different religious beliefs. This soon makes them an outsider in the town, as they try to understand what is going on.

The movie gets to play heavily into how religious beliefs can be seen by different people. It shows how quickly a town can turn on people if they don’t agree with their own. This has a nice simmer level of tension throughout. It keeps us curious as to what will happen with Raquel as the movie unfolds. The performances are strong throughout as they show the difficulties the characters are going through.

Final Thoughts Raquel 1:1 is a tense religious thriller.
