Story: Patti Cake$ starts as we meet Patti (Macdonald) a young woman who dreams of becoming a rapper. She raps around her friends and has built up a reputation on the streets. However, nobody else sees what she can bring to the table.

Verdict on Patti Cake$
Patti Cake$ is a comedy-drama following a young woman chasing a dream. It sees how the town has already decided her fate, but she doesn’t want to hold back on her dreams to be a success.
This does continue the idea that people will always chase dreams and it is about taking your shot. However, many people try to talk you down, you should continue to chase them. while the music isn’t anything I enjoy listening to, rap fans should get enjoy how it all unfolds. The performances are strong from the whole cast, and you can see why people were singing the praises of Danielle Macdonald.
Final Thoughts – Patti Cake$ is a nice tale about chasing your dreams.
