Plot: Fathers in a small California desert town abandon their children one by one leaving behind a wake of anger and crime as their sons and daughters come of age.

Story: Lords of Anarchy starts as we meet the Smalley family, Roman (Franco), Eva (Jones), children Mickey (Wahlberg) and Kolya (Arthur). They live in a small California desert town where most of the fathers leave. This is no different for Roman, who looks to leave his family and teenage children behind.
As the fathers leave the story move toward the teenagers left behind that keep themselves busy in everyday life. This sees them going down a path of destruction that their own fathers took, proving the cycle will continue.
Verdict on Lords of Anarchy
Lords of Anarchy is a drama showing the difficulties in small-town America. It follows a group of teenagers that have adapted to life after their fathers have left them, sending them down a path of discovery.
This is a movie that does seem to want to capture the magic other movies have about small-town America. However, this ends up missing a lot of the important moments and becomes plain and uncreative. Nothing about this movie comes off overly interesting and by the end, you feel like you haven’t missed much.
Final Thoughts – Lords of Anarchy is an uninspiring drama on small-town America.
