As promised, here is my hair update after using the L’Oreal Fibralogy hair care line.

Here are its claims again:

Instantly: hair feels thicker

5 applications: hair feels much thicker

3rdUse

After 3 applications

To be honest, it’s really hard to tell in pictures, but it did work.

I only used the thickening booster once last week because I didn’t want an intensive treatment. The next day, I felt that my hair felt a little bit thicker when I combed my hair using my fingers, nothing too dramatic though.

After 5 applications, it still felt the same. I think that it’s really the booster that’s making the hair thicker instantly, but if you’re planning on just using the shampoo and conditioner, it might take longer to see a big difference. I didn’t use the booster twice because I’m already contented with my hair and I didn’t want it any thicker.

6thUse

After 5 applications

Each product retails around $4CAD (385mL and 30mL booster) and around $9CAD for the 750mL, depending on where you buy it.

These products smell good, although there are times when I feel that they smell like Robitussin (LOL) and they don’t make my hair as soft as it would if I used my other shampoo and conditioner, which is the only thing that I didn’t like about these products.

One last thing. I’m not sure how long the booster would last especially for those with long hair because the directions say that you should use as much product as you would when using a conditioner.

All in all, I do recommend these products!
